"Even rap ain't all it's cracked up to be"
This line exploded in my head one day as I was reciting this verse from the unreleased song "Black Gangster". What I liked most about this song was the beat and just through osmosis I learned the words.
When I thought about it though, and I thought about the fact that Jay-Z left crack sales to try and become a rap star, this line really took shape.
I have switched jobs before only to find that there are common themes that supersede any occupation. Provide a quality product and good customer service.
But even rap ain't all it's CRACKed up to be...
Come on, that's just ridiculous.

If you are amazed by double meanings (double entendres)- check out this line from Regrets: "I sold it all from crack to opium" That 1st line is deeper than most people think!!!
ReplyDeleteAnalyze it: "I sold it all from crack to 0 PM" > From Crack of dawn to Zero PM... Wrap your brain around it- Good stuff...
He really is the best ever. That's the point of this website. It's for fans obviously, but it's also a direction to point people to when they just don't get him (which I'm convinced is the only reason people might not like him)
